Mets against Marlins need sweep

The Navistar LPGA Classic is just a week away in Prattville, and tournament or ganizers are planning a last-minute push to fill their volunteer rosters. The Mets, 9-6 against the Marlins, need a sweep, and their starter today, Mike Pelfrey, has five straight starts without a victory. NASCARs Tony Stewart is expected to make his qualifying run tonight for the Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals, Brian Stickel, a Knoxville Raceway spokesman said today. For nearly a year the press has been writing premature obits for Paul Newman. There must be something in the Colonels Original Recipe. Given that the series, whose third season premieres tonight, is now being shot in the city where it is supposed to take place, you cant exactly call it a runaway production more like a run-to production, perhaps.
